Phased construction over 7 years with 3 main phases:
Phase 1 (Q1-2019 to Q4-2020): 374-bed Badr University Centre, Ambulatory & Outpatient Center, Rehabilitation and Wellness Institute.
Phase 2 (Y3-Y5): Emergency & Trauma Institute, Women and Children Institute, Transplant Institute.
Phase 3 (Y5-Y7): Behavioral & Mental Disorders Institute, Geriatric Health Care Institute, Advanced Research Institutes, and Assisted Living Care.
Timeline:
Construction began in Q1-2019 with Phase 1 scheduled to open by Q4-2020.
Full project completion by 2027.
Total Project Cost: $850 million.
Capital Required:
$300 million for Phase 1, financed through a 9:1 debt-to-equity structure.
